NOTICE

Applications are invited for one position of Senior Research Fellow at a fixed salary of Rs.37,000/- p.m. + HRA (16%) provided in the scheme entitled “Technology application and up scaling for sustaining natural resources and augmenting farm income: Farmer-led market linked approach, ICAR-90 (PC-2419)”.

Essential Qualifications:

1. B.Sc (Agri.) with minimum OCPA 6.00/10.00 or 60% marks.

2. M.Sc in the discipline of Extension Education with minimum OCPA 6.50/10.00 basis or 65% marks.

3. a) Must have passed Matric level certificate of Punjabi language from Punjab School Education Board or any other recognized Board (as first or second language).
   b) Proficiency in speaking and writing Punjabi.

Note I: The candidate must have passed NET for recruitment @ Rs.37000/- + 16% HRA. However, Ph.D candidates are exempted from this condition.

Note II: The candidate who does not possess Master’s degree in the relevant subject but possesses Ph.D degree in the discipline required at Master’s level shall be eligible for that post.

Desirable: Work Experience in conducting field survey and computer/IT skills.

The desirous candidates fulfilling the above qualifications should submit their applications as per enclosed format complete in all respects, along with attested copies of testimonials and a bank draft for Rs. 200/- drawn in favour of the Comptroller, PAU to the office of the undersigned on or before 19.12.2025 up to 5.00 p.m. The candidates should appear for interview on 02.01.2026 at 10.00 a.m. in the office room of the undersigned. No separate information for interview will be sent. The original copies of the testimonials should also be brought at the time of interview. No T.A./D.A. will be given for attending the interview.

The fellowship is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project and initially will be awarded for a period of six months extendable for further period of six months or till the termination of the project whichever is earlier. The services of the incumbent are liable to be terminate at any time without any notice.
