Classrooms and Laboratories

The College of Community Science has three classrooms for B.Sc. (Hons.) Community Science program for each of the first three years. In the fourth year, students opt for professional elective courses and attend classes in classroom/ laboratories of respective departments. Besides, there are 22 laboratories which include six laboratories each of Department of Apparel & Textile Science and Food & Nutrition and four laboratories of Department of Resource Management & Consumer Science. The Department of Human Development & Family Studies and Department of Extension Education & Communication Management have three laboratories each for carrying out instructions to undergraduate students. There are four Experiential Learning Units viz. Bakery and Confectionary, Artistic Creations, Apparel Manufacturing and After School Care Program. The College also has one library/ book bank for the students which houses textbooks, reference books, magazines, journals, reports and newspapers.

College Computer Lab

• Equipped with multiple workstations and internet access.
• Used for computer-aided learning, data analysis, presentations, and software training.
• Supports courses requiring digital design, statistics, or ICT-based learning.

Multi-media Lab

• Features audio-visual equipment like LCD, Podium, Video-conferencing system.
• Enables students to create educational content, record sessions, and develop communication materials.

Placement and Counselling Cell

• Assists students with career planning, resume building, and interview preparation.
• Organizes campus interviews, internship placements, and skill development workshops.
• Offers personal and academic counselling services through trained professionals.

External Examination Cell

• Manages the scheduling, coordination, and secure conduct of external exams.
• Handles internal marks submission, liaison with examination branches, and result compilation.
• Ensures transparent, fair, and efficient examination practices.
