Brief Introduction

Dr. Asha Chawla Thakral has been serving as Principal Scientist in the Department of Human Development and Family Studies since 2014. She has contributed significantly to academic, research, and community outreach. She began her career as an Assistant Professor in 1993 and progressed through various roles including Scientist and Principal Scientist. Dr. Thakral holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Child Development from Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana, B.Ed. from Punjabi University, Patiala, and M.Ed. from Punjab University, Chandigarh, and a Ph.D. from Punjabi University, Patiala. She inspired young mind to empower by starting day care center and support early childhood development. Dr. Thakral is a life member of many prestigious association.
