Dr. Tejpreet Kaur Kang, Professor, Department of Human Development, has 33 years of experience in teaching, research, and extension. She served as Head of the Department from 2015 to 2019 and is a life member of 15 scientific societies. Dr. Kang has participated in over 100 national and international seminars, conferences, and workshops. She has published 102 research papers, 32 book chapters, over 150 extension articles, three manuals, and three books. She has guided 16 M.Sc. and 12 Ph.D. students and mentored one UGC Post-Doctoral Fellow. Dr. Kang has recorded an audio cassette on child care and delivered 30 radio and TV talks. She serves on academic bodies including the Board of Studies, Swami Keshwanand Rajasthan Agricultural University; the Statutes of Aligarh Muslim University; and the Board of Undergraduate Studies, Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University. Currently, she is Chairman of the Academic Affairs Committee of the college. Her key interests include parenting, aging, and positive psychology.
