RESEARCH LABORATORY

Research Laboratory (AICRP cum Ergonomics) of the department is well equipped with tools and apparatus for ergonomic studies. Students get practical training for the operations of various equipment and tools used to conduct research in the area of ergonomics as well as for research under AICRP.

HOUSEHOLD EQUIPMENT LABORATORY

Equipment Laboratory of the department is used to conduct practical and PG research studies. The laboratory facilities include microwave ovens, dishwasher, washing machines, food processors, cooking ranges, top of counter ovens, cooking units, air fryers, coffee makers, and other labour saving kitchen tools and utensils.

SPACE DESIGN LABORATORY

In Space Design Laboratory of the department, students are acquainted with skills of making best use of space through optimum placement of equipment and furniture and they are also exposed to various shapes of modular kitchens including their advantages and disadvantages. This laboratory is also used for conducting practical on lighting, interior design and furniture arrangements.

FINE ARTS CUM EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING LABORATORY

In Fine Arts Laboratory, elective students are provided hands-on-training on production of artistic creations. The students learn to design POP artifacts, acrylic paintings, mandala art, resin art, earthen pottery decoration, candle making, paper bags & envelops and homemade soaps and many other artifacts.
